Dark Days 03:44
Dark Days What do you do? On dark days what do you do? On dark days which way do you turn and who do you call is there a light to follow on dark days I heard a baby laugh at a funeral and it made me smile and I guess this gave me hope it gave me hope what do you do? On dark days what do you do? On dark days I'll reach out my hand and hope somebody holds it got myself a candle now I need a light green shoots burst from the earth on soil burned black and I guess this gives me hope it gives me hope. And on a dark day I called you and you said come around then I could see I was not alone and I guess this gave me hope it gave me hope.

I think of you in the world today we're far way but never been closer take my hand we will dream together hope and pray we will dream together a light will be born to pierce the dark it is my hope, my reason, to be alive today take my hand we will dream together hope and pray we will dream together the sun is staring to rise, the clouds they disappear I touch your soft face and wipe away that tear take my hand we will dream together hope and pray we will dream together take my hand we will dream together hope and pray we will dream together

The Boxer 03:57
The Boxer The boxer steps into the ring he can hear the crowd cheering he looks around with his broken eyes his opponent struts towards him like a new lion on the pride the old master must fight one last time and he reaches for his prime falls short every time the boxer feels back at home then he thinks of his wife this is when his face is torn blood flys through the air scarlet on the canvas floor he has fallen further that he has fallen before he lies upon the beaten ground he listens to the fading sounds the lights above dull and go out he's a wakened by a flickering reel suddenly the light fills the room his wife grabs his glass as it falls to the floor and he reaches for his pride and holds on to his wife

I will learn to talk to you I will learn to talk to you in sunlight in moonlight winter to the summer spring to the golden fall form the morning to the evening I will try and listen to the meaning listen to the meaning I will learn to talk to you I will learn to talk to you through laughter, through tears like a movie scene where the crowd cheers any time soon, anywhere at all trapped in your heart I should really make a call I should really make a call I will learn to talk to you I will learn to talk to you when you're alone, and you feel down I'll be your summer breeze all year round I'll be your summer breeze all year round.

My heart is all over the place its the quiet of the night, you are under candle light your beautiful eyes trying to read me you put me at peace, so easily achieved I bring you so much closer to me as you fall asleep, as your breath slows I lie awake with my many thoughts my heart shakes in its cage, its rhythm is gone I've lost god is he punishing me is he punishing me my heart is all over the place my heart is all over the place tie it down and bring me round. I long for a dream, where the people I love are all together once again but as time goes on, this dream is gone now I must keep locked in my thoughts keep them in my thoughts

about

Paul Henry Smith Falkirk, UK

Acoustic, electronic, full band, whatever takes my mood. Been crafting music for over 20 years. Still not happy, can you ever write the perfect album?

I'm from Falkirk, I built a small studio with much loved hand me downs and second hand gear.

When I record I get lost in an emotion, it spills onto the disc, sometimes it messy, sometimes its a rather wonderful painting I can keep forever.
